November 11th 2011 - New album confirmed!
Big news- We are confirmed to record new album in December 2011 at the amazing Rancho de La Luna studios (http://ranchodelaluna.com/) in the California desert. New album should be out in April 2012 on The End in North America & ATP Recordings in Europe. Here is the press release that just went live with the announcement:

This thursday the band play a Special DIY Warehouse show in San Francisco:

July 7th 2011 - Special Los Angeles show confirmed
Sleepy Sun have confirmed a special show at the Nomad Art Gallery in Los Angeles on the 16th September. Billed as "Psychedelic Affairs: an Art, Music & Light show."
White Hills will perform as support and only other music act.
There will be a 15 to 20 artist art show with a psychedelic oil lamp light show that includes projections, DJ Toe Jam, live art and more.

After a short break following the success of their acclaimed second LP Fever last year, Sleepy Sun are currently working on new material ready for their next album, some of which will be debuted on their US/Canadian tour made up of headlining shows as well as a number of dates with The Black Angels. To celebrate the tour, the band release DESERT GOD from Fever as a digital single on the 10th May, with new unreleased track Toys as the b-side.
